Do you travel outside of Ottawa?
Heck yes I do! I am available for travel around Canada and Internationally. Obviously I prefer somewhere warm, but any fabulous destination will work for me! Feel free to contact me for my destination packages. I also offer discounts for destination weddings that help me cross some locations off my bucket list!
Do you suggest having a Second Photographer?
Two of my wedding packages include a full day 2nd photographer. It isn’t necessary for every wedding, but it does really add to your final collection of wedding photos. I suggest considering one of the packages with a 2nd photographer if you are having a large wedding, do not plan on doing a First Look, or if you really enjoy the candid and informal moments of a wedding day. Since my 2nd photographer approaches the day from a very different perspective than myself, you get to have a nice variety of final images. We are literally and figuratively looking at your wedding through a different lens!
Do you and the 2nd photographer divide up on a wedding day?
No, both of us travel and shoot every part of the wedding day together. There are a few exceptions to this, for example during wedding party pictures I will photograph the bride with each of her Bridesmaids while my 2nd photographer photographs the Groom with each of his Groomsmen. If it is possible, sometimes I will finish up portraits with the Bride and Groom while my 2nd photographer documents some of cocktail hour. We plan our divide-and-conquer approach once we know your wedding schedule and have an understanding of your priorities for the day.
Will you help me put together my wedding timeline?
Absolutely! I am always available to help with your timeline planning. Not sure when your makeup should be finished? Not sure how long family photos will take? No idea where to do your First Look? My friend, that is why I am here!
Alright, I am in! Now, how do I book?
Well for starters… woot woot! In order to book your wedding date I need a copy of your signed contract and a 25% retainer. The balance for your package is due 30 days before the big day!
How does the engagement session work?
During the summer and fall months, I usually schedule engagement sessions on week nights in the last few hours before sunset. That gives us all the soft pretty light! Sessions last around an 1 hour to 1.5 hours. I always suggest planning an outfit change about half way through and bringing and props that will suit your personalities and the location.
