Tracy + Brent // After the Big Day Photo Session

I spent a large chunk of time last night trying to come up with a name for this photo shoot. Tracy and I kind of referred to it as a Trash the Dress when we were planning it, but the whole time we knew the dress would make it out in one piece and we never actually planned to trash it at all. I mean come on, it’s a gorgeous dress… why would you want to ruin it?

So, if it is not a Trash the Dress, then what is it? A Post Wedding Session? An I said Yes to the Dress so I wanna wear it Session? The best I could come up with was (drum roll please)… After the Big Day Session. Not my most creative work, but since I have another few of these coming up I think they deserve a name! I am open to suggestions though… so feel free to send me your thoughts!

More to the point…. I was thrilled when Tracy asked me to do this photo shoot with her. Tracy and Brent had a beautiful wedding in September last year and I was excited to get a few pictures of Tracy in her gorgeous dress again. I loved my wedding dress and I am totally lucky because I got to wear mine a 2nd time for a styled Bridal shoot with Laura Kelly, Sarah Walsh Bridal and White Ribbon Accents (you can see some of the photos here). It was so fun to have an excuse to prance around in my dress again, so I think that every woman should get the opportunity. We spend so much time picking them out (and spend so much moolah in them) so you should get to rock it more than once.

Enough of my ramblings, enjoy some of my favorites of Tracy’s After the Big Day Session! Her adorable pooch Serra was easy to convince into some photos and although her husband Brent did not respond as well to the promise of treats… we even got him into a few!
