Rideau Canal Winter Engagement Session // Brianne + Ben

Our plan was to jump on the rideau canal downtown, but we quickly realized that wasn’t going to work out – after it took me an hour to get into the market (and still couldn’t find parking) and they were sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on Colonel By Drive. Clearly a Rideau Canal winter engagement session on the last Saturday of Winterlude was a poor choice. We quickly re-grouped and made a better plan… haul ass out of downtown and head for Carleton and the end of the of the 7.8km skating stretch. In hind sight we agreed this was a much better plan and we had such a great time sliding around on the ice and strolling around the campus.

Brianne and Ben are just the sweetest and so at ease together. I had so much fun with them and I cannot wait for their wedding day in June!
