Katelyn and Matt’s rustic and blush wedding at Strathmere Garden House was beautiful! It was the perfect day, made only more beautiful by the stunning decor and fabulous love!

These two are such an incredible couple. Having the chance to get to know them while they planned their wedding has been so lovely. From hiking at sunrise for their Gatineau Park engagement session, to timeline coffee dates, to wedding day shenanigans…. it has been such a pleasure. As we packed up the camera gear at the end of their wedding, it felt as though I had just spent the day celebrating with two dear friends!

Congratulations Katelyn and Matt. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!

Katelyn and Matt chose to do a first look at Strathmere before their ceremony and it was beautiful! Matt was so anxious waiting for Katelyn to walk up and there was just as much excitement on Katelyn’s face as she came around the building and approached Matt.

We headed over to the Garden House at Strathmere for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The groomsmen walked each of the bridesmaids down the aisle before Katelyn came through the doors on her father’s arm.

The reception space was stunning and all of Katleyn’s hard work came together beautifully! The amazing wooden table numbers were made by Living Edge Studio, which is owned by one of Katleyn’s Bridesmaids and one of Matt’s Groomsmen! How wonderful is that!

Katelyn and Matt did their first dance out on the patio at dusk. All their guests came out to join them under the twinkle lights and it was one of my favourite moments from their wedding day.

Matt danced with his mother inside, followed by Katelyn with her father. Katelyn and her dad started out slow dancing and then bust some serious moves in a fast-paced choreographed dance. Their epic dance moves got the guests cheering and the only thing that made it better was when the dance evolved into a massive conga line lead by the bride through the whole reception room! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
