2015 // My Deep Thoughts + General Ramblings (plus a *few* photos)

I’m sure I am not the only one who thinks this… but where the hell did this year go?? I feel like 2015 zoomed by on fast forward (like old school VHS fast forward where you literally see all the characters moving really quickly – not like DVD scene skipping because that wouldn’t make any sense). I feel like I have finally stopped accidentally writing 2014 on things and now I have to learn how to write 2016!

This year has been filled with its share of ups and downs, but overall has been quite the ride for both my business and my personal life. Although this year I experienced the loss of the greatest man I will ever know, my Father, I also grew so much as a person and as a business owner. I strolled the streets of Paris, slept on a boat floating the Amstel River in Amsterdam, photographed my first destination wedding, completed the most amazing DIY kitchen renovation, bought a hammock (and laid in it often), watched the entire Harry Potter movie collection, drank big glasses of red wine with friends, and played a small role in the love stories of so many amazing couples.

Although 2015 took a little piece of my heart, it also gave me so much. Thank you to everyone who supported me, helped me mend, cheered me on, and cerebrated with me this year. Also, a big thank you to everyone who put their trust in me this year – trusting me with their love stories, their special days, and their big moments.

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Years and I hope that your 2016 is filled with joy, adventures, excitement, and most of all love!
