When I meet with couples before their wedding day there are a lot of questions. Most people have not been married before, so rarely are brides and grooms well versed on the topic of wedding planning. Questions are good and I am happy to answer any of them! But, my favorite question usually comes once we meet for their engagement session or comes again on their wedding day. If you have asked me this question, this is not me teasing you. In fact, this is me just reminding you how awesome you are.
Okay, have I built up the suspense enough? The most commonly asked question I get is “What do I do with my hands?”
Now, I would rather work under the impression that you have all seen the movie Talladega Nights, but I suppose there is the smallest of possibilities that not everyone loves Will Ferrel as much as me. “What do I do with my hands” is usually a question from the guys and it instantly makes me laugh. The only thing that makes the question ever better is when I ask “Have you seen Talladega Nights” and they instantly start awkwardly raising their hands.
