Heidi + Chris // Ottawa Museum of Nature Wedding

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Chris and Heidi’s beautiful Museum of Nature of wedding! You could tell they spent so much time planning out all of the little details and their big day was filled with so much of their personalities! The day featured hundreds of handmade paper cranes, fabulous cultural traditions and a beautiful sideshow of their lives growing up and now their lives together.

I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

Heidi and Chris chose to do a first look, and I am so glad that they did. Fall weddings often don’t leave much daylight once the ceremony is over, but because we did most of their photos before guests arrived, we had beautiful light and lots of time! Not even the day’s rain could dampen our spirits inside the Museum of Nature. 

After cocktail hour Heidi changed into a different dress for the traditional tea ceremony. It was beautiful to watch family and friends take part in the ceremony and show their love and excitement for Heidi and Chris.
