Rockcliffe Park Pavilion Wedding // Alison + Matthew

I am so thrilled to share a few favorites from Alison and Matthew’s recent wedding. This couple is just the sweetest. They are so kind, generous and full of life. They are a perfect team and you can just tell that they will have the most beautiful life together.

Listening to their friends and family share stories of Alison and Matthew just confirmed my vision of them as individuals and as a couple. I truly feel it was an honour to have been chosen to document their wedding day.

Congratulations Alison and Matthew! I hope your wedding day was everything that you dreamed it would be and I truly believe that you two deserved nothing less.

Sometimes it is all-hands-on-deck when your beautiful dress has this many buttons! 

Alison and Matthew chose to do a First Look before their ceremony. Since their wedding would be outside at the Rockcliffe Park Pavillion we decided to do the First Look and pre-ceremony photos at the Museum of Nature. Matthew’s reaction to seeing Alison was just priceless. 

Oh Alison… you are just too pretty for words! 

The reception was in the Summit Room at the Ottawa Marriott. It gave guests a beautiful rotating view of the city throughout the evening. 

The gorgeous cake was done by Sweet Song Cake, but the cake cutter may have malfunctioned. And by malfunctioned.. what I really mean is snapped in half while they were cutting the cake. Obviously we all attributed this to Matthew’s hulk-like strength!
